At 21st Avenue NW and NW 65th Street is another multi-family project developed by unlisted seattlehomes.com and built by Greenbuild Development LLC. The folks behind this Capitol Hill project covered at the end of last year. That was a ambitious project with brick exterior and this doesn’t appear to have the same materiality. Looks like Capitol Hill will get bricks and Ballard gets Hardie panels and a little wood for visual interest.
Here is a view showing the character of the existing neighborhood that is rapidly changing on the immediate radius from the intersection. The low-rise zoning applied to this area of Ballard has lead to rapid development of multi-family projects all very similar and size and form to this one.
